I began making jewelry about five years ago. A lady followed me to several shows I had done and really wanted me to make her a custom piece by leaving a high school graduation wrist watch on my work table, at the time I did not like clocks or watches because I have very sensitive hearing and they bothered me, so I was so not interested in this wrist watch from this woman and wanted nothing to do with it. She followed me to several shows and tried talking me into it many many times, and finally snuck it on to my table and left it there for me after one of my shows. I went home and while sitting at my work bench took a hammer to it and watched all these shiny glistening little teeny tiny gears spread out all over the place and had this feeling in my gut and knew that was what I was supposed to be doing.
Mission Statement
My goal is to reduce reuse and repurpose every piece of these pocket watches and wrist watches that I find I want to use as many things that are recycled as possible I feel that the jewelry is more personable and unique one of a kind when it is done that way.
